Ace Indian pacer Mohammad Shami says that opposition teams have got confused and are having major headaches due to the quality bowling unit of the current Indian cricket team.

Be it spinners or pacers, the Indian bowling unit has been one of the most dominating attacks since the past few years.

The Indian bowling attack has drawn praises from the legends as well as fans of the games and is the main reason why Virat Kohli-led side has been able to put up strong performances on overseas tours in recent times.

While talking to Cricbuzz, Indian pacer Mohammad Shami said that the Indian bowling unit these days confuses the foreign teams because of the strengths they possess in the unit. He further explained that how the Indian bowling unit has created ‘major headaches to the opposition’.

"I have always felt this way. Be it our spinners or our pacers our unit is such that it confuses those foreign teams as to the kind of wicket they should prepare for us.

"Kohli behaves as if he's our childhood friend," Shami talks about Kohli's support for Indian pacers

"If they give us a spinning track they know that Indians are famous for their spinners, but today, even if they give us a seaming track they are aware that Indian pacers are not going to let them breathe. The unit has created major headaches to oppositions,” Mohammad Shami told Cricbuzz.

Shami said that oppositions have always been aware of the mighty Indian batting line-up, but now they worried about the bowling unit too.

"They know our batting might but now they are troubled by the bowlers too, unable to understand how they should manage our bowlers. 'Should we give a spinning track or seaming track, they are confused.' We accept that we have 3-4 quality spinners and 3-4 quality pacers, now you give us whatever you want to," he said.

Mohammad Shami will next be seen in action when Indian takes on New Zealand in the WTC final and then later on England for the five-test series next month.
