India's premier Laser Standard sailor, Vishnu Saravanan is taking inspiration from former India captain MS Dhoni to stay calm during the Olympic Games. He has Varun Thakkar (Skiff 49er) and Nethra Kumanan (Laser Radial) as her fellow sailor.

Speaking in a virtual media interaction, facilitated by the Sports Authority of India, Nethra said, "We will go to the Games without a lot of expectation. We will see where we stand against the world level. This will be a great learning process for us."

Saravanan is looking at the competition as a learning opportunity and he wants to be cool-minded like Dhoni to give his best.

“I will be happy to finish in the top 50 percent. There’s no pressure because we know we’re not there yet. We are young and have room to learn more.

"The whole nation has so much hope on us but we have to be cool-minded like MS Dhoni and do our job,” he said. 

Talking about Dhoni, he is currently leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). They have won three matches in a row after losing the first one.
