South Africa did not have good home series against visiting Pakistan as the latter won both the ODI as well as the T20I series as well. The current head coach Mark Boucher has taken full responsibility for the losses, but he believes that results will start going their way.
Under Boucher, the Proteas have lost eight out of 11 series, but still, the former South Africa cricketer is confident that his side is on the right track and results will come.
While talking about the recent losses against Pakistan, he said, “I take a massive amount of responsibility and I should. I don't shy away from it. I am hurt, I am extremely hurt at the moment, as is the rest of the management and coaching staff.”

“We put a lot of hard work and effort into this. But there's no panic from me yet because I do understand that we have been given some trying circumstances over the last period of time and we will continue to put in hard work,” Boucher added.
The home team did not have some of their core players for the T20I series against the subcontinental side as they received NoCs to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 44-year-old addressed this issue as he said, “I am not going to make excuses. We've still got to try and win with whichever players we put on the park but it has been tough. There have been a lot of positives. It's given us a better view of what our depth is like,”
After the home series against Pakistan, South Africa will be touring Ireland for three-match ODI and three-match T20I series beginning in July.
