Former Pakistani cricketer Rameez Raja heaped rich praise on India’s cricketing system and said that this is an outstanding time for the youngsters to be a part of this Indian dugout.
Since India’s triumph in Australia down under many Indian youngsters including the likes of Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar, and T Natarajan, Ishan Kishan, and Surya Kumar Yadav rose to the occasion and helped Team India in clinching important victories.
The rise of the youngsters has led to the great bench strength for Team India going ahead into the ICC World Test Championship and T20I World Cup later this year.
In a video posted on his Youtube Channel, former Pakistani skipper Rameez Raja while lauding the Indian cricketing system said that it is an outstanding time for the youngsters to be a part of the Indian dugout.
"Your system is strong and your bench options are very good. I believe this is an outstanding time for the youngsters to be a part of this Indian dugout. The reason being in this dugout, you will find direction and aggression," Rameez Raja said on his Youtube Channel.
Raja said that in Indian cricket youngsters are given the license to express themselves because management believes in their talent and abilities. He added that this phase is a great time for Indian youngsters to be part of the Indian dugout which will help them grow immensely.
"You are backed by the management and your talent is groomed here. You are given the license to out and play fearlessly because we believe in your talent and abilities.
“The learning is great and you get to pick on the cricket awareness present in this dugout. This is a fantastic moment, time, and phase for youngsters to be a part of this great dugout, which will help them grow immensely in their careers," he said.
Team India on account of debutants Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna won the first ODI by 66 runs against England.
India and England will once again lock horns in the second ODI at the same venue on Friday, March 26.
