Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has revealed that he was named after a brand called 'Dinesh suitings', which was endorsed by the original Little Master, Sunil Gavaskar.
Gavaskar celebrated the 50th anniversary of his Test debut on Saturday, March 6, and was felicitated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with a specially commemorated Indian Test cap with the words ‘Celebrating 50 years’ written on it.
