
In the season of former and current cricketers naming their
all-time XIs, another former cricketer in Daniel Vettori has named his own
all-time XI as a part of Lord's Cricket ground program.
Vettori who bid goodbye to cricket after the finals of the
World Cup 2015, played 113 Tests and picked up 362 wickets, making him the
second best left arm spinner of all time. He was also a brilliant lower order
batsman and scored 4531 Test runs.
Currently, Vettori is the coach of Royal Challengers
Bangalore in IPL and is currently contemplating what went wrong in this current
season has they have just won 2 matches so far.
In Vettori's team, the mixture of old and new players is
seen, as he has Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar in the team with Virat Kohli,
who captains his team, and fellow countryman Sir Richard Hadlee form a core
part of his team.
