Moseley, who represented West Indies in 2 Tests and 9 ODIs, was struck by a car at a road junction on the ABC Highway while out riding his bicycle. He was 63-year-old.

His international appearances were limited because of the remarkable fast bowling depth in West Indies cricket during the 1980s.

In 1982, Moseley was among the players who signed up for the controversial West Indies rebel tour to South Africa, which saw him facing a life ban from West Indies cricket.

In the meantime, he continued to ply his trade in South Africa for Eastern Province as well as remaining at county side Glamorgan until 1986.

However, the bans were lifted and he became the only member of that rebel tour to play for the West Indies. He made his debut during an ODI match against England at Port of Spain in February 1990.

Moseley took 6 wickets in Test cricket while he claimed 7 scalps in ODIs during his brief international career. However, he hogged the limelight for breaking Graham Gooch's hand on Test debut which kept the England captain out of the remainder of the series.
