Australia cricketer Ben Dunk praised the former India cricketer MS Dhoni. He went on to call him the number one wicket-keeper batsman he has ever seen. The Aussie wicket-keeper batsman liked how Dhoni dominated international cricket for a long period of time.

The 33-year-old's early inspiration was Adam Gilchrist but he is now in awe of Dhoni's batting style. He even asks the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) manager Russell Radhakrishnan about the Indian legend. Russell is also the manager of Melbourne Stars for whom Dunk plays in BBL.

"I think MS is really the number one wicket-keeper batsman we have ever seen. The way he has played over for a long period of time. He is amazing. I often ask Russell Radhakrishnan what would MS (Dhoni) do in situations of a game. His legacy, his record speaks for himself, he takes the game from a situation when win seems impossible and he is able to somehow win the game all the time. If I can play 5 to 10 percent as good as MS I will be very happy," said Dunk to ANI.

Apart from Gilchrist, England's Kevin Pietersen had also impressed Dunk in his early days of watching cricket. He used to stay up late to watch Pietersen bat in the famous Ashes 2005.

"Growing up I looked up to Adam Gilchrist as a left-handed batsman and then I fell in love with Kevin Pietersen's game during the 2005 Ashes series, I was in boarding school and stayed up late to watch the series. He played really well and I loved watching him," he said.

Dunk, who has played 5 T20I matches for Australia, will soon join Qalandars for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T20 League, starting on January 28.
