ECB releases England’s schedule for home season; to host New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) released the men’s team’s fixtures for the home season starting with hosting top-ranked Test side New Zealand, who will play two Test matches at Lord’s (2-6 June) and Edgbaston (10-14 June).

Then Sri Lanka will arrive at the shores of England for 3 T20Is and 3 ODI matches. The T20I series will see matches at Sophia Gardens (23 June and 24 June) and The Ageas Bowl (26 June). The ODI series will be played at Chester-Le-Street, Kia Oval, and Bristol on June 29, 1 July, and 4 July respectively.

ECB Chief Executive Officer, Tom Harrison, said: “The prospect of our England Men’s team taking on the world’s two top-ranked Test nations in New Zealand and India this summer is something for us all to savor.”

England will also play Pakistan in 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs, with the ODI series starting 8th July and the T20I series beginning from 16th July.

However, the big-ticket series will be the five Tests against India, which will be played Trent Bridge (4-8 Aug), Lord’s (12-16 Aug), Headingley (25-29 Aug), Oval (2-6 Sept) and Old Trafford (10-14 Sept).
