Zimbabwe played a couple of Test matches against India in India in February and March 2002. Stuart Carlisle's men lost both the Test matches by convincing margins.
Zimbabwean wicketkeeper Tatenda Taibu batted at no. 8 and 9 throughout the series and failed to counter India's most successful Test bowler, Anil Kumble.
Taibu managed scores of 1, 0, 13, and 10 in the four innings he batted and got out three times to Kumble. After the series got over, Taibu had a chat with Indian batsman Rahul Dravid. The Indian batsman gave him unique advice that has stayed with the former Zimbabwe wicket-keeper.
Recently, he shared the advice on his Twitter account replying to the Kevin Pietersen post about advice to him on playing spin better from Rahul Dravid.
Taibu wrote, "When Anil Kumble got me out 3 out of 4 times in my first 2 tests in India. I got advice from Dravid,(after match drinks) to play him like a slow medium pace bowler but WITH bat infront of the pads while still playing late. And mostly importantly watching the ball very closely."

Tatenda Taibu averaged just 6 in the series and never played Test cricket in India again.
