The South African cricket team will be missing their performance analyst in Pakistan. Bangalore-born Indian Prasanna Agoram has been denied an entry visa by Pakistan citing 'security protocols' by the concerned authorities.

Agoram, who has also worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, has been a part of the South African team management for the last 11 years. For their first tour to Pakistan since 2003, he has not been allowed to travel with the team and has been asked to work from home.

He is disappointed with how things have worked out but is determined to do his best from home.

Prasanna Agoram told the Indian Express, "I am like a dead man walking. I will do my best from here but yes, this is a big blow for me and for the players in the team who depend on me for the detailed analysis that’s best done from the ground. But we need to understand the protocols in place."

While being understandably disappointed for not being allowed in Pakistan, Agoram understands the fact that he is not the only person to fall prey to this kind of a situation.

Earlier, Zimbabwe coach and former India opener Lalchand Rajput were not allowed to travel to Pakistan as well while Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar was barred from entering India for work.

"I have been told that Lalchand Rajput, former India player who coaches Zimbabwe, couldn’t travel to Pakistan, umpire Aleem Dar is unable to come for work to India and such. So, I am not the only person," he added.
