Pakistan has not won a Test match outside Asia in last 2 years.

After losing both the limited-overs series and the Test series against New Zealand, Pakistan has invited a lot of criticism as they didn’t put up a great show, winning only one match, a T20I. They were routed 0-2 in the Tests.

Pakistan lost the second Test-match by a huge margin of inning and 176 runs. On account of skipper Williamson’s 238, and centuries from Henry Nicholls and Daryl Mitchell, New Zealand managed to score 659-6 d in the 2nd Test at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

In reply, Pakistan continued their torrid run as they were bundled out for 186 in their second innings to eventually lose the match by a huge margin.

Known for his unfiltered cricket analysis, former Pakistani speedster, Shoaib Akhtar expressed his disappointment and predicted a heinous future for Pakistan cricket by saying that teams will stop inviting Pakistan for Test matches abroad.

“Unfortunately, Pakistan is in a very dire situation and will get exposed whenever they play Test matches. We are going towards a disastrous situation here where we fall down to No.8 in the rankings.

I fear the world might stop inviting Pakistan for Test matches. They will say our standards are not good. This is the law of the ICC.” said Shoaib Akhtar while talking on his YouTube channel.

Highlighting the humiliating loss in the second Test match against the Kiwis, Akhtar slammed Pakistan for their dreadful run in New-Zealand and in the ongoing ICC World Test championship.

“Pakistani team 'played very badly' against the Kiwis in the 2nd Test match. They will always perform badly when they travel abroad. They will get exposed.

The question is if the Cricket Board or the media is responsible for the Pakistan team's demolition? Or our selection? Or the mindset that has been going on since 2005 of playing defensively?" He said.

Shoaib Akhtar, who is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers, earlier took a jibe at the Pakistan cricket team and slammed them for playing school level cricket.

Pakistan will next lock horns against South Africa, who are touring Pakistan for the first time in 14 years, for a two-match Test series starting from 26th January.
