Proteas speedster Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of the ODI series against England after suffering a right adductor strain, officials confirmed it on Tuesday (December 1).

Rabada, 25, is likely to take about three weeks to regain his fitness. Hence, he has been released from the squad and bio-secure bubble that is in place for the England series.
In a statement, Cricket South Africa said Rabada’s release was designed to ensure rehabilitation and preparation ahead of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka that starts later this month.
South Africa coped a 3-0 whitewash in the T20I series against England, with Rabada participating in the first two games.
They will now take on Eoin Morgan and company in three ODIs, starting December 4 in Cape Town.
