BCCI thanks the fans after reaching 13-million Twitter followers milestone

Apart from Twitter, BCCI has a huge fan following on Instagram and Facebook as well.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCC) thanked fans on Twitter after completing 13 million followers on the social media platform, on Tuesday. They have a good number of followers on other social media platforms too. 

BCCI is followed by 14.4 million fans on Instagram along with 28.5 million followers on Facebook. "We're a 13M strong fam Thank you for all your love and support," wrote BCCI in a tweet. 

The cricket board has more Twitter followers than the international cricket body, ICC. ICC has 11.1 million followers on Twitter.

On the other hand, Cricket Australia's digital content account Cricket.com.au has 1.2 million followers and England Cricket are yet to reach 1 million. Even Indian Premier League's official Twitter account has over 5 million followers on Twitter. It shows the craze and huge fan following of cricket in India.
