Suresh Raina wishes Sreesanth good luck ahead of his comeback

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina wished all the luck to his former teammate Sreesanth as the paceman is gearing up for his comeback to competitive after seven-year.

After facing a 7-year ban for his involvement in spot-fixing in the IPL in 2013, Sreesanth is now ready to return to the cricketing actions soon once again with the local T20 tournament in Kerala.

The 37-year-old will be seen action in the President's Cup T20 Tournament organized by Kerala Cricket Association and Raina – who retired from international cricket in August 2020, wished him to do well in the tournament while showing his respect for the cricketer.

On Monday, November 30, Sreesanth shared a picture of him from practice as well as post a heartfelt message for his fans on Twitter ahead of the President's Cup T20 Tournament.

He wrote on Twitter, “It's just about time to roll my arms again giving the very best to the game I love the most. To all my lovely people always remember ur the best version of urself but make sure ur getting better nd better nd be the very best version please don't ever give up u r #family.”

The post got the attention of his former teammate as Raina wrote in the comment box, “Good luck my brother! Go well and best wishes to you and your will! Respect”

Meanwhile, Sreesanth – who made his India debut in 2005 against Sri Lanka and went on to win the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2007 T20 World Cup, also thanked Raina for his words before his comeback.

He replied by saying: “Thnks a lot brother..ur encouragement nd support means a lot to me ..,love and respect to u nd family brother.. hopefully c u soonRed heartFolded handsHugging faceCricket bat and ball????”

Noteworthy, the T20 tournament begins on December 17 with six teams KCA Royals, KCA Tigers, KCA Tuskers, KCA Eagles, KCA Panthers, and KCA Lions competing in 33 games in the tournament.
