The second T20I between South Africa and England was played in Paarl and saw England gaining a 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Eoin Morgan chose to bowl first after winning the toss and Adil Rashid’s 2/23 and wickets from Archer, Tom Curran, and Jordan help England keep South Africa to 146/6 in 20 overs. SA skipper Quinton de Kock made 30, Rassie van der Dussen made 25* and George Linde made a quick 29.

In reply, Tabraiz Shamsi picked 3/19 in his 4 overs, but Malan (55), Morgan (26*), and Buttler (22) were enough to take England past the winning mark with 4 wickets in hand and one ball to spare.

South Africa did their best to keep England at bay while defending a small total, but it didn’t help as Lungi Ngidi went for 51 runs in 4 overs.

This also marked the eighth consecutive T20I series for England without a defeat. The next T20I will be played on Dec 1 in Cape Town.
