South Africa and Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) batsman Faf du Plessis has been in the news ever since the IPL 2020 started, given his performance and his team’s fortunes in the ongoing tournament. The team is at the bottom of the points table with 3 wins in 9 matches thus far.

However, Du Plessis has been their best batsman by far, scoring 365 runs in 9 matches with 4 fifties at an average of 52.14 and at a strike-rate of 142.57. Not only with the bat, but the former Proteas captain has been excellent on the field as well, taking awesome catches on the boundary.

Only Ambati Rayudu and to some extent, Shane Watson have done justice to their batting skills for CSK  in the ongoing IPL 13 tournament.

Recently, the Chennai Super Kings’ social media account posted a photo of Faf sitting on the boundary signage with the caption reading, ‘Catchment Area’.  Du Plessis’ wife Imari shared the photo on her Instagram story and wrote “Let’s have more babies @Fafdup #Justkidding”

To this, Faf replied with “I’m ready, let’s go”

To let you all know, Faf du Plessis and Imari were blessed with a baby girl, their second child, on August 18 this year. The couple already has a daughter born in 2017 and Du Plessis revealed that they have named the newborn Zoey Du Plessis.
