Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh recollected the memories of from 13-year-back when he hit England pacer Stuart Broad for six sixes during a World T20 match in Durban. On September 19, 2007, Yuvraj became the first cricketer to hit six-sixes in an over in a T20I match.
Yuvraj also completed his half-century in just 12 deliveries which is a record to date. Recalling the day, he posted a picture in which he posed after smashing one of the six sixes. "13 years! How time flies!! #memories ????," he wrote on Instagram about the incredible achievement.
Broad, the victim of Yuvraj's on-field quarrel with Andrew Flintoff, commented on the post and wrote, “Time flies less than the cricket ball that night.”
While Chris Gayle called the achievement legendary, Yuvraj's ex-teammate Gautam Gambhir wanted to take this record from him. “Ye record mujhe de de Thakur (Give this record to me)," he commented.
