Amid the COVID-19 crisis, CISF personnel have been tirelessly working and Rahul said it is everybody's responsibility to make them feel safe and comfortable.

"The CISF is protecting us day and night. They are risking their lives so that we can live comfortably. It is not only mine but everybody's responsibility to make them feel safe and comfortable. This is just a small gesture from my end for them," Rahul quoted as saying by IANS.

Earlier, Rahul had donated PUMA shoes to doctors and healthcare workers across his state capital.

Before that, the Karnataka lad had auctioned his 2019 World Cup bat and other precious memorabilia to help the underprivileged children.

KL Rahul, who was last seen in action during the New Zealand tour earlier this year, will lead Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), slated to be held in UAE from September 19 to November 10.
