Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has come up with an idea to unite the former and current India cricketers for a charity match. A lot of former Indian cricketers didn't get a proper farewell on the ground and Irfan thinks this could be their farewell match as well.

Irfan shared the idea on Twitter and got a positive response from fans. A match between the former and current Indian cricketers sounds exciting to the Indian cricket followers.

Recently, former India captain MS Dhoni and World Cup winner Suresh Raina announced their retirement from international cricket without a proper farewell.

"Many people are talking about a farewell game for retired players who didn't get a proper send-off from the game. How about a charity cum farewell game from a team consisting of retired players vs the current Indian team," Pathan tweeted with his choice of XI.
