Cameron White | GettyAustralia all-rounder Cameron White has confirmed his retirement from all forms of professional cricket.

The 37-year-old's 4 Tests came on Australia's 2008 tour of India. He further turned up in 91 ODIs and 47 T20Is, including being captain in seven of those limited-overs internationals.

White scored over 3,000 runs and took 18 wickets at the highest level. His last outing for Australia came back in 2018 via an ODI against England.

White also featured for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), now-defunct franchise Deccan Chargers from 2008-12 and was also picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the 2013 season in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Even though his international career didn't flourish as much as he would've liked, domestically White was a stalwart, scoring 10,537 runs at nearly 40 apiece besides taking almost 200 scalps in first-class cricket and making 7,703 List A runs at an average of 37.57, with 104 wickets.

The Victorian won as many as ten domestic trophies during his career, including six successful campaigns in the Sheffield Shield, once in List A competition, twice when the state-based T20 tournament was played and one time during the Big Bash League (BBL).

"I've definitely finished up playing, that's for sure. I had a one-year playing contract with the Strikers. I only played a handful of games with them last year and in those games I would have needed to play really well to get another deal," White told cricket.com.au.

"To be totally honest, I'm pretty content. I think my time is definitely up, I've had enough from a playing point of view and I'm ready to focus on coaching," he added.
