Former India cricketer Suresh Raina has joined the group of people who have raised voice for the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on social media. He shared an old picture with Sushant on his Twitter account.

Raina is hopeful that the truth will come out one day. Referring to him as his brother, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman said the demise of Sushant still hurts him.

Recently, the Supreme Court rejected actress Rhea Chakraborty's plea for transfer of the Patna FIR to Mumbai.

Also, it held that the CBI taking over the Patna FIR was valid and that the central agency did not require Maharashtra’s consent to undertake an investigation into the death within the jurisdiction of the state.

CBI will now be taking over the investigation into a new case, if one is registered by Mumbai police, without having to require the Maharashtra government’s consent.

Sushant was found dead on June 14 at his house in Bandra West, Mumbai. The official postmortem reports concluded that he died of asphyxia due to hanging.
