"Just another day!" What was MS Dhoni doing before announcing his retirement?

Former India cricketer MS Dhoni is known for being unmoved by any emotions and he showed it once again on the day of his retirement. The 39-year-old may have left many of his fans in tears on August 15 with the announcement of his retirement, but it was just another day for him.

Dhoni, who is in Chennai for the ongoing 6-day training camp ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, did net practice hours before the social media post. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain had reached Chennai on Friday.

“Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”, wrote Dhoni in his post. The video which he shared had pictures from his international cricket journey and a background music 'Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shair Hoon' from the movie Kabhi Kabhie.

A CNN News 18 journalist, Poornima Murali captured the moments of Dhoni before making the post. "Meanwhile...MS Dhoni practicing at the Chepauk stadium this evening hours before he made his announcement on international retirement #MSDhoni," she wrote.
