MS Dhoni on Saturday (August 15) has announced his retirement from international cricket with a post on Instagram. Dhoni's retirement was much speculated over the last 12 months but today on India's 74th Independence Day, the former Indian captain decided to call time on his illustrious international career for Team India.
Dhoni wrote, "Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired" with a video featuring photos from some of the biggest highs and lows of his career at the highest level, with the all-time Bollywood classic, "Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon" playing in the background.

MS Dhoni will continue to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and is set to lead the franchise in the upcoming 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE.
