Manoj Tiwary has been very vocal on his opinions about Sushant Singh Rajput's caseThe Sushant Singh Rajput case is spiraling on with new angles and controversies erupting almost every single day. Social media is full of citizens clamoring for justice for the 34-year-old late actor, who was found dead in his Bandra home on June 14.

Now India and Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwary has pointed out on the stunning silence of cricketers on the Sushant Singh Rajput case and mentioned that cricketers do have a responsibility towards such issues as they are public figures.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Tiwary spoke about many people asking him the reason behind cricketers' silence on the matter.

It is surprising for many people. They keep tagging me and saying most of the cricketers have not come out. I cannot speak for anyone. Everybody has decided how they want to lead their lives, whether they want to be vocal about certain issues or not is completely up to them,” Tiwary said.

I personally feel that people should obviously come out. As a public figure, we have responsibility. Our honest fans and lovers expect a lot of things out of us. They expect us to not only come out on the field and do well but at the same time when important issues come in our country, they expect us to come out and have a say,” he mentioned.

But at the same time, I can understand why many people don’t come out and say what they want to. They want to be diplomatic. That’s fine with me but I’m not that sort of a person,” Tiwary added.

On Monday, Tiwary had tweeted his take on the Sushant Singh Rajput – Rhea Chakraborty case, “2 al d gold diggers out there. Read dis Down pointing backhand index. Money only impresses lazy girls.
