Former Bangladesh cricketer Mosharraf Hossain has tested positive for the COVID-19 on Sunday (August 9). The left-arm spinner contracted the deadly Coronavirus from his father.
Mosharraf is currently in isolation in Dhaka and his health is also in good shape while his COVID-19 infected father is currently admitted at the ICU of Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
However, the 38-year-old’s wife and children tested negative for Coronavirus and have been sent to his wife’s paternal house.
Mosharraf, who played five ODIs for Bangladesh, was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and got cured after four months of intense treatment in Singapore and was gearing up to make a comeback to the domestic circuit until tested positive for the COVID-19.

Symptoms started to show, so I tested yesterday and got the report that I was positive. I am in isolation now.”
He further added, “My health is currently well. The reports of my wife and children have come out to be negative. So, I sent them to my father-in-law’s house. I am in isolation in my home at Dhaka. I ask for everybody’s prayers to recover quickly.”
