Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi invited fans for a question and answer session on Twitter. In one of the questions, he was asked to pick a better captain between India's MS Dhoni and Australia's Ricky Ponting.
Afridi has played against both and it wasn't tough to ask for him to name one among them. But the fact that both, Ponting and Dhoni have done really well statistically for their side as a captain may have put the ex-Pakistan captain in dilemma.

Ponting and Dhoni both have led their country to World Cup titles. India won all three ICC tournaments under the leadership of the Ranchi born, while Ponting once took Australia to an invincible phase when beating them was really tough.
Answering the question about better captain between them, Afridi said, “I rate Dhoni a bit higher than Ponting as he developed a new team full of youngsters."
In the 2007 T20 World Cup, India's senior cricketers were rested and a young side had won the trophy. Similarly, in 2013, Dhoni wanted to build a new side and they created history by winning the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
