Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has played some of the memorable innings against India. But he couldn't perform against the arch-rivals in World Cup tournaments. Afridi never scored a half-century in the clash against India.

Pakistan has played seven matches against India in the 50-over World Cup and Afridi has played four of them. In those four games, his scores are 6, 9, 19, and 22. Even in T20 World Cup, he was part three matches where he could only add a duck, 8, and 8.

A fan wanted to ask Afridi the reason behind his failures against India. He also failed to pick wickets with just one in his tally overall.

Responding to the fan, Afridi replied India got lucky he didn't fire with the bat. "I think the Indian team was lucky," he wrote.

Indian fans found the response funny as the ex-Pakistan cricketer couldn't even deliver once despite being an experienced campaigner.
