India all-rounder Stuart Binny recalled his sensational record-breaking spell of 6-4 in a One Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh back in 2014.

On 17th July 2014, Binny achieved an incredible feat in ODI cricket with his magical spell of 6/4 in just 4.4 overs – which helped India to record a 47-run victory via the DLS Method over the Tigers in the second ODI of the three-match series on their Bangladesh tour.

Binny's 6/4 are still the best bowling figures by an Indian bowler in ODI cricket, as he broke the previous record held by Anil Kumble who had taken 6/12 against the West Indies in the Hero Cup final in 1993.

Recalling his dream spell of bowling during a live chat on Sportskeeda’s Facebook Page, the all-rounder said he still gets goosebumps whenever he watches the video of that Mirpur ODI against Bangladesh – which is probably his best performance in international cricket.

Binny recalled during the live chat: “I still get goosebumps when I watch that video, to be honest. You can't ask for better days than that. It was a game where we didn't get too many runs on the board and we were under pressure from ball one. It was a wicket that wasn't bad but we were on and off the field because of rain.”

He concluded, “The covers came on and off and on and off. There was a little moisture in the surface and it suited my bowling. I could not have asked for a better wicket on that day to suit my bowling.”

Binny has so far played 23 international matches for India, while he last played for India in 2015.

Noteworthy, India won that ODI series against Bangladesh by 2-0 margin with the final ODI getting washed out, under the captaincy of Suresh Raina.
