Ian Bell shares son’s first cricket game; Dean Jones and Michael Vaughan make fun of Bell's height

Bell, who played 118 Tests, 161 ODIs, and 8 T20Is for England from 2004-2015 was extremely happy to see his young lad batting.

However, that joy remained for a little while as former Australian batsman Dean Jones, who is known for his quick wit, trolled Bell and said that “Is he taller than you?” Bell was also quick to respond and said, “and he’s only 7!! He’s running on the wicket, you must like that?”

Apart from Jones, Bell’s former England teammate and captain Michael Vaughan also proceeded to crack a height joke at his expense and tweeted, “He is already bigger than you .... !!

England saw the restart of international and recreational cricket after months of lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The United Kingdom saw more than 294,000 cases with more than 45,000 fatalities.
