Cricket fans got to watch a good contest in the first Test between England and West Indies. The thrilling encounter saw West Indies winning the opening Test of the three-match series against England.

But it's the rain which has bothered cricketers, as well as the spectators. Playing the spoilsport, like always, the rain has interrupted the game several times and after a point the viewers got frustrated.

Even the start of the second Test was delayed after light rain paid a visit. This time Jimmy Neesham couldn't hold himself from making a witty comment on the regular interruption by rain in England.

Jimmy, who is famous for his witty side, left fans in the split with a tweet on England rains. He wrote the Britishers colonized the world so they could find an appropriate venue to play cricket as it always rains in England.

“Probably one of the reasons the British colonized the world. To find a place where they could play a damn Test match,” Neesham tweeted.

The Kiwi cricketer's comment came after a fan wrote how England was able to invent cricket despite the rain.
