"Stupid push-up challenge won't cure depression," Manoj Tiwary takes sly dig at Ramesh Powar

Celebrities often take the initiative to educate people on sensitive topics. Recently, after the unfortunate death of young actor Sushant Singh Rajput, social media discussed depression and tried to enlighten the youngsters on that matter. 

Former India cricketer and India women's team coach Ramesh Powar has taken ’25 push-ups for 25 days challenge’ to spread awareness.

Powar has been sharing videos of him doing 25 push-ups and he also nominated his friends to take the challenge. The challenge got an indirect response from Manoj Tiwary who wanted to know how the push-ups challenge would help to cure depression?

He got a little harsh and called it a 'stupid' challenge. "Can someone educate me on how push-ups challenge or any other stupid challenges 4 that matter will help people who all r going through depression ??", he wrote.

Ramesh Powar got his eyes on the tweet and he decided to give him a proper explanation. He shared the reason to do the challenge in a tweet.
