It was impossible to believe there will be no cricket in India for four consecutive months. When 2020 started, fans were talking about giving players a break before important series so they don't feel overburdened with back-to-back cricket.

No one had an idea 2020 would be so cursed that fans will suffer because of drought of cricket. Now, as cricket has returned after a long break, fans are overjoyed witnessing the Test series between England and West Indies.

But on the other side, the players who aren't getting to play are running out of patience to take the field and get back to normalcy.

India cricketer KL Rahul clicked a picture with his cricket kit and expressed how much he misses batting. "I miss you," wrote Rahul. He can be seen holding a helmet in his hand as he sat near his kit.

Rahul was on a rampage before the COVID-19 pandemic affected the world. He was asked to take a new role for the Indian team. Batting at number 5, the India wicket-keeper batsman scored a hundred and 88* in three-match ODI series against New Zealand.
