Former India batsman Aakash Chopra picked the best XI for Delhi Capitals (earlier Delhi Daredevils) from all the players featured for the franchise till now. Delhi Capitals used to have big names in their squad before they released them.

Chopra paired Gautam Gambhir with Virender Sehwag for the opening spot. He also named Sehwag as the captain of the side. Gambhir had represented the franchise in the first three seasons and returned in the IPL 2018 after winning a couple of titles for Kolkata Knight Riders.

AB de Villiers was an easy addition to the all-time XI simply because of the ability he has to destroy opposition bowlers on his own. Aakash also added current Capitals captain, Shreyas Iyer in the side, along with the young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant.

Surprisingly, there was no place for David Warner and Kevin Pietersen. But Chopra included JP Duminy in the team. He also picked Chris Morris as the only all-rounder in the XI.

There was a spinning duo of Amit Mishra and Shahbaz Nadeem in the all-time team. The bowling attack also had experienced pacer Ashish Nehra and Dirk Nannes. Nannes was singed in IPL 2009.
