Harbhajan Singh is celebrating his 40th birthday today and the spinner with over 400 Test and 250 ODI wickets, has received love from everyone on his special day.
Yet to call time on his illustrious career, Harbhajan has continued to ply his trade in IPL, where after playing for Mumbai Indians for 10 years and winning the IPL three times, he switched side to Chennai Super Kings in 2018 and added one more title that year to his kitty.
Paying tribute to one of the best spinners produced in the country, the Chennai Super Kings Twitter account shared a heartwarming story about how Harbhajan Singh did a lovely gesture to ensure Suresh Raina retained his number 3 jersey in CSK.

Being a senior player Harbhajan Singh was entitled to wear his favorite number 3 on his jersey, which he wore for India and for Mumbai Indians, when he joined CSK.
But Suresh Raina has worn that number since day one for the franchise, and not to make an issue, Harbhajan switched to number 27, the birthday of his daughter Heer Hinaya.
“Bhajju Pa entered the super team not just with phenomenal Thamizh, but with phenomenal grace too. He'd worn Jersey #3 for India and Mumbai for ages and knowing #ChinnaThala's tryst with #3 and this city, he picked #27 as a tribute to little Hinaya's birthday! #Yellove,” CSK tweeted.
Suresh Raina replied to the tweet saying,” That was really kind of Bhajju pa! Not just Hinaya, he made Gracia also super happy knowing her fondness for number 3.”
