New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor has a long career to look behind. The 36-year-old made his debut for the Blackcaps in 2006 and he recently became the first player to play 100 matches in all three formats. He has played 101 Tests, 232 ODIs, and 100 T20Is as well.

In such a prolonged career, Taylor faced a lot of bowlers and he has named three of them who troubled him the most.

Picking the first bowler who bothered him a lot, Ross picked Sri Lanka's spin great Muttiah Muralitharan. Muralitharan has 800 Test and 534 ODI wickets which shows Taylor isn't alone who struggled to survive against him.

Another bowler in the list who gave the Kiwi batter a hard time is from Sri Lanka, again. Lasith Malinga, with an unorthodox bowling action, didn't allow Taylor to settle much.

The last in the list is South Africa's Dale Steyn, a beast with the ball in his hand and aggression in the head. It was his pace that didn't let Taylor breathe easy in the middle.

“Both Murali and Malinga are hard to pick up because of their unique bowling actions. Talking about Steyn, it’s obviously the pace and consistency which the pacer possesses,” said Taylor during the interview with Cricingif.
