The banter which started from the cricket field between Yuvraj Singh and Kevin Pietersen has stayed with them even after retirement. Pietersen had once called Yuvraj a pie-chucker for his bowling and since then the two never leave an opportunity to engage in a friendly tiff on social media.

Pietersen turned 40 on Saturday and received a lot of wishes from his friends, fans, and ex-teammates. Yuvraj also posted a wish for his buddy and it was hilarious.

Reminding Kevin of his comment which was made a decade back, the ex-India cricketer tweeted, "@KP24 my friend it's your birthday. wish I was there to chuck pies at you and smash your face with them! Have a wonderful day and year ahead buddy! More power to you."

Pietersen responded to the tweet and expressed his desire to meet him soon. "Hahaha! Hopefully soon bro!", he wrote.
