Former Indian captains, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid are currently working together to ensure Indian cricket runs smoothly in the future.

Both of them are positioned highly in Indian cricket. While Ganguly is BCCI's President, Dravid is National Cricket Academy (NCA) head.

VVS Laxman, who has played with both the ex-cricketers, believes it's a good opportunity for Indian cricket to plan a lustrous future. He also added the partnership of Dravid-Ganguly can do wonders.

"It is great! the partnership between BCCI President Ganguly and National Cricket Academy (NCA) Head Dravid. If the Indian team wants to be successful in every format, then this partnership is of utmost importance. I think everyone is important, the team captain, NCA Head and BCCI President."

Last year, Ganguly and Dravid had met to discuss a roadmap for the improvement of NCA. The academy which was supposed to give rise to the budding cricketers has now ended up becoming a rehab center for the injured senior cricketers.

Ganguly has an idea about it and that's why his meeting with Dravid was a crucial one. With the ongoing situation, it's difficult to implement plans and we will have to wait for things to get normal again.
