The coronavirus pandemic has given cricketers a chance to interact with one another via social media. Fans have seen lots of players having Instagram live or Facebook live sessions with one another in order to keep the entertainment going.

Once such Instagram live between Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam led to Malik’s wife and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza threatening to kill Azam.

During the chat, Malik trapped Babar by asking him a hilarious question. Malik asked Babar to pick his ‘ favorite bhabhi’. In response, 25-year-old Babar picked Sarfaraz Ahmed’s wife as his ‘ favorite bhabhi’, which resulted in Sania Mirza giving him a ‘threat’.

After Azam revealed his answer, an irked Sania replied “I will kill you.” Furthermore, Sania also commented that she wouldn’t let Babar sleep on their couch anymore.

Shoaib Malik will not be part of the England tour as he has been given permission to meet his wife and son.

“Unlike the rest of us, Shoaib Malik has not seen his immediate family for nearly five months due to his commitments and the subsequent international travel bans following the COVID-19 pandemic. As travel restrictions are now slowly easing out and there is an opportunity for a family reunion, it is appropriate that at a human level we show compassion as part of our duty of care and respect Shoaib’s request,” PCB had said in a statement last week.
