As per the media reports, Dhoni owns more than 40 bikes ranging from the modest Rajdoot RD350 to Harley Davidson Fatboy. And this collection has impressed legendary South African batsman Barry Richards so much that he wants Dhoni to give him a ride on his Harley Davidson.

“Dhoni has got a lovely attitude to cricket. So probably, I would ask him what are his interests outside of cricket, I would really like to know that. I would ask him whether I can have a ride on his Harley Davidson,” Richards said on Fan Play-Sports Ruler Inside Out with Baggs show.

Team India tasted huge success under Dhoni’s captaincy, winning the 2007 World T20, 2011 Cricket World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy. The veteran wicketkeeper also led the team to pinnacle in Test cricket.

Commenting on his captaincy, Richards said Dhoni’s leadership qualities reminded him of former England captain Mike Brearley as both had the ability to get the best out of their players.

“Captains of my era are a little bit different. They had less pressure from the media than they do today. Mike Brearley was always a very impressive captain. He might not have been the best player but a very impressive captain. He got the best out of the players. So in my era he would probably be the best captain,” the 74-year-old opined.

It has been almost a year since MS Dhoni last played any form of competitive cricket. The World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand at Old Trafford was his last appearance in Team India colours.

In a bid to stake claim for a place in the national squad for T20 World Cup, Dhoni was set to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) during the 13th edition of Indian Premier League but the Coronavirus outbreak forced the BCCI to suspend the cash-rich event indefinitely.
