Warner is ready for Tollywood movies, says Laxman; Smith surprised by his transformation on TikTok

David Warner has garnered a huge following with his funny and dance videos.

He keeps sharing hilarious skits and dance shorts on the platform as cricket has been interrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

In an ideal world, Warner would have led Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2020 which was supposed to start on March 29, and SRH mentor, VVS Laxman was taken aback by Warner’s change of persona.

In his recent conversation with Steve Smith on Star Sports' show 'Cricket Connected, Laxman said,” He [David Warner] is pretty busy at the moment, isn't he? Doing plenty of dancing and moving around. He has obviously created a fair bit of excitement over in India. He has been trending there. And who knows, you may see me on TikTok soon."

Laxman also said that he won’t have any problem in finding a role in Tollywood movies after dancing on Telugu stars Allu Arjun and NTR Jr’s songs.

Meanwhile, Smith revealed that Warner had never shown this side of the character in the dressing room of the Australian team.

He is in a good space, just enjoying his time at home as much as he can. During the lockdown, people have been doing different things and he has been improving his dance moves and trying to entertain that way, that's all good,” Smith said.

Meanwhile, the two discussed the possibility of Australia hosting the ICC T20 World Cup later this year and while Smith said that he is not the right person to comment on anything, Laxman was very vocal about his opinions.

It is going to be very risky. I don't foresee the T20 World Cup happening this time in Australia. To follow all the guidelines, protocols so that everyone is safe, which I am sure in the most important aspect everyone will be looking into," added Laxman.
