Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag paid tribute to the soldiers who were martyred during a clash with Chinese soldiers. The relationship between India and China hasn't got any better with time.

India had asked China to leave Indian territory in Ladakh which they illegally captured and during the de-escalation process in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place.

At least 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in the first deadly clash after at least 45 years. Both sides suffered casualties. As per US intelligence, 35 Chinese soldiers died.

Sehwag took to social media to mourn the death of Indian soldiers and he warned China in strict words to not escalate the matter.

"Heartfelt condolences to Col. Santosh Babu who made the Supreme Sacrifice in action at the #GalwanValley . At a time, when the world is dealing with a serious pandemic, this is the last thing we need.  I hope Cheeni sudhar jaayein.", wrote Sehwag.
