"Are we serious," Aakash Chopra shocked on derogatory YouTube video about Shahid Afridi's COVID-19 status

Afridi announced on Saturday that he is tested COVID-19 positive.

Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra was in shock after he saw a YouTube video mocking ex-Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi over positive COVID-19 test.

Afridi on Saturday said he is tested positive for Coronavirus and the cricketer received messages for a speedy recovery from all across the cricket fraternity.

"I've been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I've been tested and unfortunately, I'm COVID positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah," Afridi announced on Twitter.

But some hate-mongers came up with negative posts for him. It wasn't restricted to Twitter, as Chopra pointed out, even YouTube had a hateful video against Afridi.

Sharing the derogatory post on Afridi which read, "Shahid Afridi punished for his misdeeds", Aakash wrote in disbelief, "Are we serious?? Sensitivity...humanity...thing of the past?? Wish you a speedy recovery, Shahid. May the force be with you."
