Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan spoke against those who are trying to suppress his voice on social media. He had recently raised his voice against racism on Twitter.

As per Pathan, racism is not only limited to the color of the skin but also when someone differentiates in people because of their faith.

“Racism is not restricted to the color of the skin. Not allowing to buy a home in society just because u have a different faith is a part of racism too,” Pathan had written on social media on Tuesday.

Pathan had later explained that it was an observation from his side. “It is an observation and I don’t think anyone can deny this,” he later told PTI.

The 35-year-old got negative comments from many Twitter users, but it didn't affect him. Pathan took to Twitter again and said they can't stop him from sharing his opinion. He wrote, “My opinions are always as an Indian and for India, I will not stop…”
