Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, has heaped praise on Indian cricket legend MS Dhoni for choosing the Mahindra Tractor for farming at his farm in his hometown Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Apart from his cricketing expertise, the legendary Indian captain is also known for his swanky garage filled with exotic cars and stylish bikes.

Dhoni, an avid biker is a proud owner of an enviable collection of cars and motorcycles from heavy-duty bikes like Suzuki Hayabusa, Ninja H2, Yamaha RD350, Ducati 1098, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R to SUVs ranging from a Hummer H2, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the GMC Sierra.
Well, Dhoni has recently unveiled his newest beast to the world, as the legendary cricketer added a Swaraj 963 FE to the list of vehicles he owns – which has been making a buzz on the internet since a video of him driving the tractor at his seven-acre farmhouse became viral.
In the video shared by his IPL side Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni can be seen driving the tractor while another person sits next to him, possibly briefing about the features of the vehicle.
One of the flagship models for Swaraj Tractors Swaraj 963 FE is powered by a 3478cc three-cylinder 4-stroke diesel engine and can produce 44.74-48.47 kW (60-65 hp) of power, as well as, the farming tractor also has a power steering and a digital instrument cluster into it.
Well, Dhoni’s latest acquisition is something totally different from his collection and even the former captain’s choice has drawn praise from the Chairman of Mahindra Group Mr. Anand.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday (June 6), Mahindra, the business tycoon, wrote while praising his choice, “I’ve always thought the man is a good decision-maker with the perfect sense of judgment.”
Even the company's Executive Director for Auto and Farm Sector, Rajesh Jejurikar also thanked Dhoni for choosing a Swaraj tractor on Twitter. He said: “As India moves to Bharat, so does M S Dhoni. Thanks for choosing a Swaraj tractor for your farm in Ranch”
Noteworthy, it is being said that Dhoni has been trying his hands at organic farming over the last few months at his sprawling 7-acre farmhouse in hometown Ranchi during the COVID-19 lockdown.
