Jermaine Blackwood earned a recall for upcoming UK tour

The West Indies selectors have chosen a squad for the upcoming tour to England, however, three players have opted out of the three-match Test series, to begin in July. The squad is expected to depart from the Caribbean on June 8.

International cricket set to return in July as ECB announces dates for West Indies Test series

The West Indies will be in the United Kingdom for about four weeks and will be housed in a bio-secure environment before the first Test. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed on Tuesday that a three-Test series without spectators is scheduled to start on July 8 at the Ageas Bowl.

Edgbaston was picked as a contingency venue and will be utilized for additional training throughout July. The West Indies will arrive in UK on June 9 and use Old Trafford as their base to quarantine and train ahead of the first Test match. Old Trafford will also host the second and third Tests on July 16-20 and 24-28.

The three players that have opted out are Darren Bravo, Keemo Paul, and Shimron Hetmyer. 
CWI says it respects their decision and will not hold it against them while considering future selections.

Recalled in the team was Jermaine Blackwood, while Chemar Holder is the new face in the West Indies squad.
