Noteworthy, Kohli’s brother Vikas is a successful entrepreneur and the co-owner of New Delhi-based restaurant, Nueva. He along with his wife Chetna and son Aryaveer have been spotted often supporting Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Indian captain had once revealed that his elder brother and his friends would not allow him to bat and would all just go home when his time came during his childhood.

Virat had said, “Mere sath bhot nainsafi bhi hui hai (I went through great injustice). They knew I was passionate about cricket so I would take any position. Whenever it was my turn to bat, they would all just go home and I used to cry that they made me do everything but did not let me bat. It was frustrating at times, but with my cricket, he was committed to helping me in every way he could.”
