Virat Kohli will become Naseem Shah’s bunny, says Faisal Iqbal

Former Pakistan batsman Faisal Iqbal is excited for the exciting duel between country’s young pace sensation Naseem Shah and Indian captain Virat Kohli in the near future.

Iqbal is confident that Pakistan’s pace prodigy will give Kohli a tough time whenever they meet, saying the dashing right-hander, who is regarded as one of the best batsmen of the world cricket, will be Shah’s bunny anytime given his genuine pace and swing.

In a recent interview with PakPassion.net, the 17-year-old Pakistan fast bowler said Kohli is one such player he is waiting to face while claiming he “respects him but don’t fear him”.

The youngster had said: “I hope that I can bowl well against India when that chance comes by and won’t let our fans down. As for Virat Kohli, I respect him but don’t fear him. It’s always a challenge to bowl to the best, but that’s where you have to raise your game. I look forward to playing against Virat Kohli and India whenever that chance comes.”

Retweeting the interview on his official Twitter handle, Iqbal said while lauding Shah: “With due respect to Virat as a great batsman I am sure our upcoming superstar fast bowler @iNaseemShah with genuine pace and swing Virat will be his bunny anytime.”

Former International signed off by saying he is looking forward to the future battle between Kohli and Shah on the cricket pitch with the hashtag respect for both.
