Ishant Sharma recalled India's historic maiden Test series victory in Australia during the 2018-19 season, saying "it is a very big thing for any cricketer" to be involved in.
Virat Kohli & company defeated the Aussies 2-1 in the four-match series and retained the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Ishant himself contributed 11 wickets at 23.82 in 3 Tests towards the cause.

"First time winning a Test series in Australia is obviously a very big thing for any cricketer. It was big for me as I have toured Australia four times and I know how tough it is. The team had the motivation to create history in Australia," the veteran pacer told opening batsman Mayank Agarwal, who made his Test debut during that trip, on the series 'Open Nets with Mayank' hosted by bcci.tv.
Ishant will be looking forward to resume his battle with Australia's best batsman Steve Smith when Team India revisits the Aussies shores later this year for another Test series. And possibly sledge him while mimicking his ways, as he did when the Australian was here in 2017 Bangalore Test.
"At this point in time, I want to enjoy my cricket by taking wickets and contributing to the side. I will focus on this only, unless and until you guys don't provoke me to do something mischievous," said the 31-year-old.
Australia has already announced the schedule for the next Border-Gavaskar Trophy, starting December 3 in Brisbane followed by matches in Adelaide (December 11-15), Melbourne (December 26-30) and Sydney (January 3-7).
The fixture dates, of course, are conditioned to change if the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic keeps the travelling restrictions in place.
Ishant, meanwhile, is making good use of time away from the game by being with his family and also his pet dogs, whom he introduced to fans via this video interview.
"After a long time, I'm spending more than two months at home. It is good to know that my parents and wife are nicer to me," he said.
Mayank pulled Ishant's leg, saying he seems to have taken his batting a bit too seriously these days. To which, the pacer replied: "Because of you guys. You guys poke me so much so I have to score some runs."
On Ishant's maiden Test half-century last year in Jamaica against the West Indies, Mayank remembers, "everybody in the dressing room was extremely happy".
Ishant, who has always come across as a capable survivor lower down the order, played a fluent knock of 57 runs versus Calypso Kings.
He told Mayank it was for the very first time in his career that his batting gloves got so wet that he had to replace them with KL Rahul's gloves.
