England all-rounder Ben Stokes' comment on India's batting approach against them in World Cup 2019 was very bold. It got a huge coverage on social media after Stokes questioned MS Dhoni's batting style which felt like he already gave up the chase.

While netizens gave their opinion on Stokes' valid questions, former Pakistan cricketer Sikander Bakht twisted the story and claimed that the Englishman has written India lost to England deliberately to eliminate Pakistan from World Cup in his book.

Reacting to Sikander's tweet, a fan asked the cricketer to show where Stokes has mentioned that India lost the match for a purpose?

Stokes was furious over Bakht's comment and slammed him for twisting his words. "You won’t find it cause I have never said it... it’s called “twisting of words” or “click bait” ????‍♂️," he wrote.

The 28-year-old had only pointed finger at the intent of Kedar Jadhav and Dhoni during the chase. "Arguably, the way MS Dhoni played when he came in with 112 runs needed from 11 overs was even stranger. He appeared more intent on singles than sixes. Even with a dozen balls remaining, India could still have won.

"...there was little or no intent from him (Dhoni) or his partner Kedar Jadhav. To me, while victory is still possible you always go for broke."
